Ordered a pair of gloves and some tape, and right away I had a good feeling because the tracking came through the next day. The package actually showed up a day earlier than I expected, which was a nice surprise.
The only thing that made me pause was the box looked a little beat up when it arrived, but my gut was right that it was probably just the outside. Everything inside was totally fine, so I’d still order again.

I ordered a couple of hockey items from Pure Hockey, and overall the packaging was good. Everything I bought was in the box, and nothing showed up damaged.
The outside of the box had a dent on one corner, so I was kinda worried when I first saw it. Luckily, the items inside were wrapped well and didn’t seem to move around much during shipping.

I’d probably give it 5 stars if the outer box felt a little stronger, but it was still a good experience overall.

Replies were slow, and I didn’t really get clear updates unless I followed up myself. I understand there are rules they have to follow, but it was frustrating feeling like I had to chase every step. In the end, it wasn’t a terrible experience, and I’d still shop there, but I do wish the communication had been better

I had to send back a pair of skates because they didn’t fit right. Once they got them, my refund came through quicker than I thought it would, just a few days later. I’m only knocking off one star because I didn’t get many updates during the return, but the money came back with no issues.

I was happy with how easy it was to find the skates I wanted. Everything felt straightforward at first, which made me feel like I was in good hands. The only thing that took away from the experience was the checkout, it lagged a bit and had me wondering if my order was actually going through. I still got what I needed, but that slow ending made it feel a little more stressful than it should’ve.

I had been checking everywhere for my kid’s stick size and Pure Hockey was the only place that actually had it in stock. The checkout process was quick and easy, which made the whole thing even better. Really happy with the experience and I’d definitely shop here again next time we need gear...

I ordered new skates from Pure Hockey and used their sizing and fit info before buying, because apparently guessing your skate size and praying isn’t the best strategy. It was accurate overall, they felt a little snug at first, but that’s kind of the whole deal with skates. Definitely saved me from the fun little cycle of ordering, trying on, returning, and questioning my life choices. Shipping was totally fine too. I took off one star because I still wish the fit notes were clearer for wide feet, since not all of us have dainty little hockey elf feet

They’ve got a solid selection of gear, which I liked, but a few of the sizes I needed were already sold out. I didn’t bother reaching out to customer service because, i never really trust them to give a straight answer anyway. Overall, not bad if they have what you’re looking for

I got my skates sharpened at Pure Hockey they felt really good once I got on the ice. The edges were clean, even, and I didn’t get that weird extra bite you sometimes notice after a bad sharpen. It was quick too. I don’t know for sure, but maybe they’re just more consistent with their sharpening setup than some other places I’ve tried. Either way, I’ll definitely keep going back.

I went in to get fitted for skates and overall had a good experience. The guy helping me actually measured my feet and had me try a few different pairs instead of just pushing the priciest ones on the wall. I think I tried on three or four pairs while my coffee sat there getting cold, but he was patient and explained what to look for. It definitely took longer than I thought it would, but I ended up with skates that feel a lot better once I’m out on the ice.

He asked about my level and how often I play, then basically said, “You don’t need the top-end pair, these will fit you better for where you’re at.” I appreciated that he wasn’t just trying to upsell me. Ended up with skates that feel right and didn’t blow my budget.

Picked up a couple sticks and some socks from the sale section, and the prices were a lot better than what I’ve been seeing at my local shop. The site was easy to get around, and shipping even showed up a day early. I was a little nervous since one item was clearance and I figured it might arrive scuffed up or something, but it came in totally fine. Happy with Pure Hockey overall, though if the deals dry up or shipping gets sloppy, I’d probably start looking somewhere else. For now, I’ll definitely be checking their clearance section again.
